Warranty & AMC Policy
Effective Date: June 1, 2025
All UPS systems sold by Gravity Power Solution are refurbished and thoroughly tested for reliability and performance. These products may show minor signs of prior use but are restored to functional standards and come with limited warranty coverage as described below.
Gravity Power Solution is committed to delivering quality refurbished UPS systems and battery solutions. Our products come with limited warranty coverage and optional AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) services based on location, usage, and UPS capacity.
Warranty Coverage
- All refurbished UPS systems include a standard 1-year warranty.
- PCB boards carry a limited 3-month warranty from date of installation.
- Combo Pack Offer (UPS + Battery) includes 1-year complete warranty for both units.
- Small components such as resistors, capacitors, and fuses are tested and include 1-week functional warranty from the date of delivery.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following:
- Physical damage or damage due to mishandling or misuse
- Improper installation not done by our authorized technicians
- Electrical surges, spikes, lightning, or water damage
- Damage resulting from the use of non-recommended accessories or third-party parts
- Burnt components caused by overloads or short circuits
⏱️ Warranty Activation
Warranty coverage begins on the date of installation or 3 days from the date of delivery, whichever comes first. Customers are encouraged to install the product within the stipulated time to avoid coverage lapses.
Warranty Claim Procedure
- Customers must report issues to our support team within the warranty period.
- Warranty support will be provided via on-site inspection or product return (as applicable).
- In case of valid warranty claim, the defective part will be repaired or replaced at no additional cost.
- Transportation costs (if applicable) must be borne by the customer unless otherwise stated.
Extended Warranty & AMC Options
After the initial warranty period, customers can opt for an extended AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) based on the UPS size (kVA rating), usage, and location.
- AMC pricing varies depending on UPS configuration and travel zone.
- AMC includes preventive maintenance, priority service, and replacement of standard components (as per AMC plan).
- AMC duration: 1 year (extendable annually)
What Is Included in AMC Coverage
Our Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) covers:
4 Preventive Maintenance visits per year
Priority technical support
Minor part replacements (e.g., fans, fuses, terminal blocks,IGBT,PCB)
Health checkup of UPS & battery system
Load testing & system diagnostics
AMC Inquiries & Custom Plans
